Thus a moment of learning yields a lifetime of bliss.”

Hindi bridges the gap of communication in today’s world of increased globalization of outsourcing companies to Asia. Since the 1980’s one of the constant tasks of US and global economy has been companies outsourcing to India. Hence, demand for employees who speak Indian languages has been on the rise. Globally, the requirement for Indian languages is not confined to private enterprises and corporations, and especially here in the US, government agencies also have a dire need for Hindi speaking officials.

On National Security: January 05, 2006 former US President George Bush launched the National Security Language Initiative, designed to teach a few foreign languages, including Hindi. He declared, “We’re going to teach our kids how to speak important languages.” The Bush administration included Hindi as a “critical need that is part of a strategic goal to protect our country.”

The knowledge of Hindi will enable one to communicate with most South Asians. From India to Pakistan, to Bangladesh and Afghanistan, to Tibet, Nepal and Singapore, Hindi, a direct descendant of Sanskrit, has always functioned as a lingua franca among different language groups within and outside of India. Apabhramsha, Awadhi, Bhojpuri, Braj, Bundeli, Chhattisgarhi, Kanauji, Khariboli, Magahi, Maithili, Marwaari, Urdu and a host of vernacular dialects are close in relation to Hindi. As a result, anyone conversant in Hindi has communication skills for at least four different languages and at least ten dialects.

For government agencies and private enterprises, Hindi Guru is an invaluable asset, and for those who are simply desirous of learning Hindi, just for the sake of knowing it, this course is a dream come true.

For individuals of Non-Indian origin, Hindi, as a second language is unsurpassed by any standard, and as a business tool, its leverage is without bounds.

For individuals of Indian descent, globally, Hindi is undoubtedly, the inseverable umbilical cord that binds each person to a home far removed; a lingering yearning that is often satiated through the magic of Hindi.

Hindi Guru brings to reality, fulfillment for those desirous of learning Hindi within a very, very short time.

This course begins by teaching you to read and write, but if your desire is to speak, why learn to read and write Hindi? The answer is very simple:

With this course, one could learn to read and write Hindi within a very short time. In fact, on several occasions many of my students learned the entire alphabet in one day, and by the next day, they were able to write. This does not apply to everyone, as learning varies from person to person, but after learning to read and write, the possibility of acquiring pedagogical proficiency over the language is infinite. The ability to read and write any language helps enrich the human language database or what is known as lexis. Lexis is the storage of language or word forms in a person’s mental lexicon that are sorted in simple patterns, and are easy to remember and use in daily speech and writing. Such usage of stored language usually conforms to the conventions of grammar; yet, it does not require the user to have a thorough knowledge of grammar. In my opinion, reading and writing does not create a stilted use of the language; rather, it frees the student to make unlimited use of the language.

After spending several years creating and developing this course, the special technique I applied to the propaedeutic with distinct attention to phonics and grammar, especially syntax, will certainly stimulate cerebral chronaxy. To simplify, “learning couldn’t be any easier.”

Learning Hindi language with this course can be likened to someone talking next to you, you cannot help, but hear the conversation; similarly, with this course, once you start it, you cannot avoid learning Hindi. With this course, one cannot help, but learn.

Without further ado, find out for yourself, just how simple it is to learn Hindi with your personal Hindi Guru.

Extracts from Opinions/Reviews

“I went through the book, Hindi Guru, thoroughly. Panditji, I MUST congratulate you. It's the BEST book I have come across thus far that one can use to grapple with mastering Hindi from the beginning up to a certain level. The care you took to explain concepts of grammar is most commendable. I am most encouraged to have Gurukula use this book for the simple reason that it is so lucid. I would like to have the book placed for sale at our sales-desk, and also students to use it in class.” Dr. Satish Prakash PhD, Vyakaranacharya (Founder/Acharya, Maharshi Dayananda Gurukula, New York, USA).

“Taking into account the continued and increasing interest in Indology and Indian cultural ethos, this course serves as a primer and undoubtedly, a praiseworthy effort, which, I believe, is an unparalleled, simplified Hindi learning program… Pandit Shri Roop Sukhram has written this primer of Hindi for teaching the language of the ancestors, not only to the descendants of India, but to anyone desirous of learning the Hindi language. I wholeheartedly cooperated with him and offer my oblation to this “Jñāna-yajña” (sacrifice of knowledge) being performed by him; I offer all my blessings and wish all success to this sacred idea, which has inspired Pandit Roop Sukhramji.” Dr. Govardhan P. Bhatt, M.A., PhD. (New Delhi, India: Former professor at Varanasi (Banaras), and Agra Universities, India. Linguist and philosopher well known for his prestigious publications, The Marathi Encyclopedia of Philosophy and The Basic Ways of Knowing. A study of the Epistemology of Bhatta School of Purva Mimamsa from Kumarila Bhatta’s School of Indian Philosophy).
